Emote is designed specifically for psychiatrists and psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners running or starting their own private practices.

Emote is a fully remote service, so we work behind the scenes for our providers regardless of their location. And our partnering providers work remotely and/or in person.
At Emote, our approach is intentionally comprehensive rather than piecemeal. We belive psychiatric providers are best supported through an integrated practice management system where operations, scheduling, billing, technology, and administrative support all work together seamlessly. Rather than offering disconnected standalone services, our model is designed to reduce burnout, improve workflow efficiency, and create a consistent experience for both providers and their patients. This full-service structure allows our team to truly understand and support each practice as a whole, not just individual tasks.
Neither! Emote operates behind your business name, managing operations while you focus on clinical work. All revenue goes to the provider, and Emote invoices providers separately, on a monthly basis.
Emote charges a modest initial setup fee and ongoing tiered monthly pricing based on monthly gross revenue. All revenue goes directly to the provider and Emote invoices separately for our services. You own all aspects of your practice and hire us as a service.
Emote’s NCR significantly exceeds industry benchmarks. In Washington State, the average NCR for psychiatric nurse practitioners ranges from 74 to 88 percent, with 88 percent considered “excellent.” Over the past 12 months, Emote’s average NCR across all clinics is 94.9 percent.
Practices consistently operating above 90 percent typically demonstrate strong front-end insurance verification, tight billing timelines, effective denial workflows, intentional payer mix selection, and clear financial policies with patient acknowledgment. Emote’s results indicate strength across all of these areas, reinforced by the presence of dedicated practice managers and US-based billing operations.
A practice manager is a dedicated administrative professional who handles day-to-day operations - remotely - like patient communication and workflow optimization. Our practice managers are based in the U.S. and have medical practice management experience.
This depends on a few factors including number of billable hours per week, number of payors you are in network with, marketing approach, patient retention and how efficient your intake and scheduling service is.
The unfortunate reality is, demand and need for quality psychiatric services is chronically high. Thus, when a clinician opens their practice, if they are visible online and are known by a few primary care clinics, other psychiatric clinicians and therapist groups, their practice will fill. The need is there! We find that our clients get to the $8,000-12,000 per month gross revenue within the first 4-6 months and the $18,000 + per month within the first year or so.
We provide support regarding marketing as well as tips and tricks to grow referral sources to speed up practice growth.
